Smoked Salmon Pasta

Impeccable. A helpful serving of seared smoked salmon blankets a tomato cream sauce spaghetti. The shredded parmesan and handful of capers are easy to miss, but the parsley handful of mushrooms are not. Cooking the salmon ever so slightly was a brilliant move-- the dish would have felt incohesive without it. And the sauce. It was neither too creamy nor too tomato-y.

I didn't try the pizza, but it looked like the real deal-- closer to thin crust with whole basil leaves and globs of mozzarella melted over a tomato spread. If it weren't for the characters on the menu I might have thought I were in Italy.
