No, it’s not a blueberry pizza— it’s a boba pizza. I can’t help but wonder if it was discovered when someone accidentally spilled their bubble tea on a slice of pizza and decided that pizza can’t be wasted or if someone actually thought it was a good idea.
But it was.
To be fair, cold pizza is a completely different experience and I ate mine after my hour drive home. The boba was cooked evenly and had the perfect QQness (the chewy bounciness). Most of the experience is chewing the boba and enjoying the delicate hint of honey. The cheese and bread were like a straw and acted merely as another vessel to transport boba into the mouth.
From a ‘critiquing’ perspective, this wasn’t anything extraordinary. From a boba enthusiast perspective, this was life changing.
Price: $$
(this pizza is $139, but many prices on the menu are closer to $300)
Taste: 5.5/ 10
